Wheelchairs are provided on the grounds (on a first-come, first-served basis) for those with walking limitations. Wheelchairs can be requested from the Information Booth next to the main entrance.
Tram tours originate at Tram Stop 1 by the Main Entrance and Tram Stop 2 by the Children’s Garden at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Priority is given to the mobility impaired. Round trip tours are approximately 40 minutes and provide access to central garden areas and the DeGolyer House.
Tram drivers provide history of the houses and gardens as they drive.
There is a maximum of 7 passengers per tram, with only 2 people per seat, regardless of age. All small children must be accompanied by an adult.
Trams do not transport wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, coolers or other large items.
Priority is given to the mobility impaired.
Continuous Tours are no long available and trams do not run during high attendance days for the safety of our guests.
Trams and wheelchairs cannot be reserved.
We strive to ensure that the Garden, its buildings and its tour vehicles are accessible. However, due to the garden’s naturally varied topography, portions of the historic landscape may be inaccessible.
