Museums For All FAQ

What is Museums for All?
Museums for All is a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM). More than 480 museums (including art museums, children’s museums, science centers, botanical gardens, zoos, history museums, and more) across the country offer a reduced admission fee of $3 or less with the presentation of the SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card.

How does Museums for All work?
Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can enter the Garden with a reduced admission fee of $3 per person, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP EBT card.

What do I need to get the Museums for All admission rate?
You will need to present your SNAP EBT card along with a valid ID at the ticket booth.

Do I need to register for anything?
No. Guests do not need to register to receive the reduced admission rate.

Do I pay with my SNAP EBT card?
No, your SNAP EBT card is only for identification purposes, showing that you meet the criteria. Any admission costs must be paid for with alternate methods (cash, credit cards, etc.).

I have one SNAP EBT card. How many people can get the Museums for All rate with the card?
Each SNAP EBT card allows up to six people to get the Museums for All admission rate.

Can I use WIC or something other than SNAP to get the Museums for All rate?
Yes, please present your WIC card along with a valid ID.
