Breathtaking outdoor and indoor locations are available for commercial photo shoots at the Arboretum every month of the year.

If you are scouting for the perfect location for your catalog, fashion or other commercial shoots consider the Dallas Arboretum. Located on the banks of White Rock Lake, there are dazzling water features throughout the garden. Additionally, in the winter, our grass is over-seeded with winter rye and in the summer we have lush bermuda grass so we look beautiful all year long.

Please note: for smaller handheld equipment, you do not need to pay a commercial garden photography fee – only the price of regular admission and parking are required to enjoy a day and take personal pictures in the garden. General photography guidelines require that you do not block off a garden or a pathway.

Reminder that the City of Dallas does not permit changing clothes in the public restrooms, but we do offer a two-hour rental in our VIP rental for $300 that can be reserved online.

Indoor Access to Alex Camp House (First Floor Only)* and Outdoor Pricing

*Rental of the Alex Camp House provides access to the entire first floor of the home, including a VIP suite, living area, library, two private terraces with views of White Rock Lake and a dining room that can accommodate up to 20 people including crew/talent. Additional crew/talent are a $50 per person fee.

Concert Stage & Lawn

A green room is available inside the nearby Alex Camp House and can be reserved for $200 per hour. This room is also referred to as the VIP Room and is appointed with a full-length mirror, table with chairs and a restroom. It has a separate entry/exit near the back side of the home with easy access to the Concert Stage & Lawn.

Need a VIP/green room?
When booking the DeGolyer Estate we can allow you access to the Docent Lounge. This climate-controlled, indoor space serves as a wonderful green room and offers a restroom.

Half-day Docent Lounge rental: $250
Full-day Docent Lounge rental: $500
