Join us for “Bake of the Dead,” a unique hands-on baking class with Chef Diana Zamora, owner of Nena Postreria, and our VP of Programs, Dustin Miller. They will delve into the intriguing history of recipes found in cemeteries while offering tastings of some fascinating bakes. Following this, Chef Diana will lead guests in crafting classic Dia de Muertos treats: Pan de muerto and pumpkin empanadas (empanadas de calabaza). Guests are encouraged to bring a cherished family recipe to share, celebrating the connection to loved ones and the joyous remembrance of life after death.
