About this Event

Close out Hispanic Heritage month with an all-star five course dinner featuring five powerhouse Latina chefs: Via Triozzi’s Sonia Mancillas, Chef Mollie G, Nena Postreria’s Diana Zamora, José’s Anastacia Quiñones-Pittman and La Duni’s Dunia Borga. Taco y Vino owner, Jimmy Contreras, curates beverages for each course. Menu includes prawns and beef. Vegetarian available upon request.

Course 1 – Sonia – Blue Corn Molote – shrimp & chorizo, nopales & squash escabeche, carrot salsa & black garlic crema

Course 2 – Mollie – “Cóctel de Camarón” – Confit Prawns, Passionfruit, Beets

Course 3 – Diana – Jackfruit Jocón – jack fruit tomatillo stew, avocado coconut crema, pepita crisps. (Gluten free, vegan)

Course 4 – AQ – Guajillo Braised Short Rib – pozole grits, lacinato kale, pickled red onion, nixtamalized corn

Course 5 – Dunia – Merengón de Maracuyá – classic Colombian style Pavlova, toasted merengue, passion fruit cream, toasted caramelized pistachios, mixed berries
