Have you heard of Flower Wine?  It is the oldest fermented beverage in the world with Chinese archeological evidence dating back to 9,000 BCE.  It was popular during the Chinese Han Dynasty as well as in ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome.  All ingredients in flower wine come from flowers.  Here in Texas, the Florvino Flower Winery crafts award winning flower wines in the hill country just North of San Antonio. Florvino has created an educational and entertaining mobile winery tour and tasting.  During the experience participants go into the fields and learn about the process of harvesting flower ingredients and into the wine cellar where one of a kind flower wines are crafted all with the help of media technology.  While you discover how flower wines are made you also get to taste 6 delicious flower wines: Jasmine flower wine, Hibiscus flower wine, Dandelion wine, Peach Blossom wine, Wild Rose flower wine and their popular cowboy's sangria: YeeHaa! Florvino's award winning flower wines have been served in high-end fine dining restaurants and have received praise from some of the top sommeliers in the world.
