Pecan Grove
With its shady canopy, the Pecan Grove is the perfect location for a peaceful picnic. This space also serves as the centerpiece of our famous fall festival, Autumn at the Arboretum, featuring our internationally acclaimed Pumpkin Houses. It is large, comfortable, inviting and full of a variety of blooming plants and trees that keep it beautiful year round.

Cafe on the Green is located across the Paseo from Pecan Grove.
Shade and Amazing Attractions
From early spring when the tulips and cherry blossom trees bloom and through summer with the verdant grass, the Pecan Grove offers shade and amazing attractions.
Guests take lots of photos of the lush green lawn surrounded by beautiful seasonal color.
Spring ushers in a stunning sight as over 100 blooming Japanese Cherry Trees surround the Pecan Grove. In late summer, the Pecan Grove closes and in transformed into the Christmas Village, which opens in early November each year. Inspired by European Christmas Markets, the village is comprised of charming shops and facades representing a quaint European hamlet, a 23-foot-tall German-built Christmas Pyramid, and Santa’s house and sleigh.
