Field Trip Frequently Asked Questions
BEFORE YOUR FIELD TRIP
Refer to your invoice for payment due dates, amount, and mailing address.
Your reservation may be cancelled if your payment is not received by the due date.
All schedule and attendance changes must be made no later than 2 weeks before your visit. If you need to reschedule your reservation, you must contact the reservation department at least two weeks before your scheduled visit in order for your payment to be applied to a new visit date.
All field trips are non refundable. The Arboretum does not issue refunds or tickets for absent group members.
4. Special Needs
Please let the Reservations Department know if you are bringing children with special needs.
The Adult price applies to all adults who have prepaid the teacher and are part of the field trip
reservation. Passes and memberships may only be applied to adult admissions.
6. Contact the Reservations Department
ON FIELD TRIP DAY
Bring a copy of your e-card with the final attendance figures completed and ready to turn it. Only 1 teacher is needed to check in the school group. Check-in is your arrival time, usually 15 minutes before your first guided program begins. Students should exit the bus and proceed directly to the school picnic area and be seated while the contact teacher completes check in procedures.
Please unload lunches and place in the school picnic area where they may be enjoyed at a later time.
If you are aware of a late arrival, please provide the chaperone with a teacher mobile number to facilitate them in locating the group.
4. Be Courteous
Adult chaperones must accompany and supervise all students at all times. Please have your students respect other groups, so that everyone may enjoy their visit.
