Wine Tasting with Cassaro Winery

Join John Matthews, owner and winemaker of Cassaro Winery and Vineyard for a special tasting of five award-winning wines. In the past five years Cassaro has garnered more than 100 international awards for their red, white and rose' wines. Paying homage to his Italian ancestry, John's speciality is dry reds and Italian varietals such as Sangiovese, Dolcetto and Montepulciano. One of his most popular and honored wines is Texano Superiore a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon and his own unique version of a Super Tuscan. In addition to the wine tasting, attendees will be treated to a sample of Cassaro winery charcuterie board items including imported meats, cheeses, fruit and other small plate items.
