Register your class for a one-hour guided tour of our exciting new Story Book Playhouse exhibit. Your tour will include visits to houses especially selected to meet the age and reading level of your students. We will point out the location of the remaining playhouses for you to visit on your own upon completion of the tour.

The guided tour for students in preschool to second grade will focus on Teremok, One Fish, Two Fish, The Lorax and Hope for the Flowers . The tour finishes at the pond where your students can feed the Koi fish. Students in grades 3 – 6 will explore connections between science and literature as they visit The Little Prince, City Green, Eragon, The Bamboo Cutters’ Daughter and The Lorax.

The story book playhouses will inspire your students’ imagination and challenge their creativity. 

Other story book playhouses for you to visit when your tour is over include:  The Owl and the Pussy Cat, Treasure Island, Hansel and Gretel, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and Thumbelina.
