Lay Ornamental Garden

The Lay Ornamental Garden is a 2.2-acre Texas cottage garden, filled with hundreds of perennials and a dynamic falling water curtain set against native limestone walls. It was designed by Boyd, Heiderich, Armstrong and Berger for Mrs. Amelia (Mimi) Lay Hodges in honor of her husband, Herman Lay. Look for a collection of bronze wildlife figures nestled throughout the garden, donated by the Trammell Crow Family.
